  • evisa.imigrasi.go.id is a government portal run by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
  • Visitor Visa is a single-entry visa which is valid for 30 days stay in Indonesia with the purpose of Tourism, Government Visit, Business Meeting, Goods Purchasing, or Transit only.
  • The validity period of Visitor Visa is different from the period of stay in Indonesia. The validity period of Visitor Visa is 90 days, as stated on Visitor Visa. If foreigners holding Visitor Visa come to Indonesia after the 90 days period, they must apply for a new Visitor Visa, visa on arrival at the airport, or other types of visas.

  • The Visitor Visa fee is IDR 500.000,00. Please note that every payment via Debit/Credit Card will incur additional fees according to the financial institution’s regulations.
  • Each traveler must hold a separate Visitor Visa, including infants and children (even if children/infants are included in their parent passports).
  • Foreigners who wish to enter Indonesia must hold a passport with an expiration date at least 6 (six) months from the date of arrival (In accordance with the article 22 (1) b Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 44 of 2015).
  • Once the Visitor Visa is processed, none of the information can be changed. The information on your Visitor Visa must be exactly the same as the information on your passport. Otherwise, your Visitor Visa will be invalid and there will be no refund. According to article 106 Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 44 of 2015, Immigration Officer at the ports of entry reserves the right to deny entry into Indonesia to a foreigner who provide incorrect information in the visa application.
  • The documents to request an Visitor Visa are as follows:
    1. Full biodata page of passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of your arrival to Indonesia (format JPG/JPEG/PNG);
    2. Passport size photograph (format JPG/JPEG/PNG);
    3. Email address; and
    4. A valid Mastercard, Visa, or JCB credit card.
  • Before submitting Visitor Visa, you must create an Account by “Main Page > Apply > Register” (please note that each visitor visa must be submitted by the respective account) and perform:
    1. Fill in data and uploading documents;
    2. Receive verification email; and
    3. Activate the Account by clicking “activate” on the verification email which must be confirmed within one hour.
  • After logging in to your account, you can apply for Visitor Visa by clicking “Main Page > Apply” and then perform:
    1. Data Filling:
      1. 1)   Visa type,
      2. 2)   Arrival information, and
      3. 3)   Residence information in Indonesia;
    2. Payment; and
    3. Granting Visitor Visa.
  • After completing the “payment confirmation” page, you must proceed with the payment within 120 minutes. Otherwise, the system will not accept payment, and you will need to create a new request.
  • You can only make payment by Mastercard, Visa, and JCB credit card. The card is not required to be under your name. Kindly make sure that your card has a “3D Secure System” and is open to international transactions.
  • After completing the payment process, your Visitor Visa will be available in your Account. Immigration Officers at the ports of entry can verify your Visitor Visa in their system. However, you are advised to keep your Visitor Visa with you either as a softcopy (on tablet pc, smartphone etc.) or as a hardcopy in case of any failure in the system.
  • You only need to do the Account creation once. If you forgot your password you can select “Main Page > Forgot Password”.
  • Kindly inform the Visitor Visa Support Desk (livechat at www.imigrasi.go.id or sending email to visa@imigrasi.go.id or evoa@imigrasi.go.id) should you encounter any suspended or unsuccessful transactions during the request procedure. Please do not create a new request or make a new payment unless otherwise advised. The Ministry will not be responsible for additional payments and no refund will be granted in case of such unfinished transactions.
  • There are numerous websites which claim to assist users in receiving Indonesian Visitor Visa in return for a service charge. These websites are not endorsed by or associated with the Indonesian government. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any misuse of information or failure of service on their side.

Visitor Visa is a single-entry visa valid for 30-day stay in Indonesia with the purpose of Tourism, Government visits, Business Meetings, Goods Purchasing, or Transit only.

Visitor Visa is an alternative to visas issued electronically via e-VISA Application, visa on arrival at the port of entry, and visa at Indonesian Embassy/Consulate.

Applicants obtain their Visitor Visa electronically after entering required information and making payments by a credit card (Mastercard, Visa, or JCB).

The link to download your Visitor Visa is given on the final step, where you will be informed that your request has been completed successfully. In addition, the same link to download your Visitor Visa will be e-mailed to you.

Alternatives: You can download Visitor Visa via the “Application” menu in the Visitor Visa Application.

Immigration officers at port of entry can verify your Visitor Visa on their system. However, you are advised to keep your Visitor Visa either as a soft copy (tablet PC, smartphone, etc.) or a hard copy if there is any failure on their system.

As in the case of other visas, the Immigration Officer at the entry ports reserves the right to deny access to Indonesia to an Visitor Visa holder without any explanation.

Documents needed to prepare Visitor Visa request are:
a. Full biodata page of passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of your arrival
to Indonesia (format JPG/JPEG/PNG with max. size of 200 kb);
b. Passport size photograph (format JPG/JPEG/PNG with max. size of 200 kb);
c. Email address;
d. A valid Mastercard, Visa, or JCB credit card.

An Visitor Visa can be obtained easily anywhere with an internet connection. It saves time you would otherwise spend on e-VISA Application, visa on arrival at the port of entry, visa at Indonesian Embassy/Consulate (if you are eligible).

Issuance of Visitor Visa does not guarantee entry to Indonesia. Visitor Visa simply indicates that the individual is eligible to seek entry for a specific purpose. The decision of entry remains the right of the respective Immigration Officer at the port of entry.

Under Article 22 (1) b Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation Number 44 of 2015, foreigners who wish to enter Indonesia must hold a passport with an expiration date at least 6 (six) months from the date of arrival. You are advised to have the return ticket printed.

Immigration Officer reserves the right to ask for your return ticket at entry.

You must apply new Visitor Visa application. We cannot refund payments for error in visa application.

No. The validity period of your Visitor Visa begins from the date specified in your application. You can enter Indonesia on any date within this period.

The Republic of Indonesia does not sell, rent, or otherwise use for commercial purposes any personal information entered in the Visitor Visa Application System to third parties.

The applicant bears full responsibility for the safety of the soft and hard copies of the Visitor Visa.
Any information obtained at each request stage and the Visitor Visa issued at the end of the process is stored in secure systems. The applicant bears full responsibility for this information again should it fall into the hands of third parties.

The barcode on the Visitor Visa stores the applicant’s information in an encrypted and electronically signed form designated by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and the Human Rights Republic of Indonesia.

Access to the barcode’s content is solely provided to the institutions authorized by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and the Human Rights Republic of Indonesia. The applicant bears full responsibility for any inconvenience that may result from barcode alterations or forgery caused by the applicant.

Yes. Each traveler must have a separate Visitor Visa.

No. Visitor Visa is only for single entry. If you wish to obtain a multiple entry visa, you can apply for a multiple entry visa via e-VISA Application.

No, your Visitor Visa is invalid. You must obtain another Visitor Visa.

If you wish to stay in Indonesia longer than your Visitor Visa permits, you must apply for a residence permit extension at the Immigration Office.
